How we are helping the people of Ukraine

Watches for Good is a 501c3 non-profit started by a group of watch enthusiasts spanning volunteers from tech, legal, and the overall watch industry. We take action to support causes in healthcare, education, humanitarian aid, and fighting global hunger.

While the free world has stepped up its efforts to support Ukraine, we have found from conversations with people on the ground that there are still significant and unmet needs.

Our current initiative is to support Ukraine’s humanitarian needs by raising funds to provide body armor and aid to civilian territorial defense units around the nation along with food and clothing. We also support women and children in multiple cities like Kyiv, Odesa, and others. We are working with dozens of volunteers on the ground who provide medical supplies for maternity wards, newborns, and anyone with medical needs.

100% of your contributions are tax-deductible. Our proven track record with transparency enables us to cut through red-tape politics and bureaucracy, so your funds are utilized to their fullest.

Thank you for your most generous donations!

Ukrainians are fighting alongside regular civilians most of whom have no military experience. They are trying to protect their children, families, and homes.

We are in close communication with top military personnel on the ground who have confirmed that Ukraine is receiving a considerable amount of humanitarian support including food and medical supplies but we need to help more! The most critically needed items are bulletproof vests, helmets, and tactical gloves. We are additionally acquiring medical supplies and food and will distribute to women and children in bunkers and shelters.

These regular civilians who have signed up for the territorial defense units in their towns are lacking this support and these are the ones we want to help strengthen. The men ages 18-60 who have stepped up to the task have limited or no prior training. Local armor suppliers in the US have stepped up to assist with the procurement of bulletproof vests, helmets, and gloves.

Meest shipping company from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has direct shipments to Lviv, Ukraine going out Tuesday and Thursday mornings. As your funds come in, we will purchase supplies immediately to ensure they can arrive as quickly as possible and save as many lives as possible.

We are asking for your help! The least we can do from a distance is send them the equipment they need to protect themselves.

We are working on obtaining the following items from suppliers at cost. We will be working with our wide network of Ukrainian diaspora partners to have these shipped. For any additional questions, please feel free to reach out directly - contact@watchesforgood.org

William Miller Elementary School is located in Bend, Oregon and Andrea Simone is the President of their Parent Teacher Organization. She reached out to us after Googling efforts associated with helping Ukraine and stumbled upon Watches for Good.

The elementary school students, parents, teachers, principal, and superintendent of the public school system coordinated donation efforts by gathering clothing for children in Ukraine totaling 48 boxes! Andrea led the ground team effort by working with her local FedEx crew. It was truly an act of kindness and amazing to watch as these elementary students and the wider community all gathered to help load the FedEx truck and help those in need.

These clothes will be shipped to our local partner Meest in Washington state where we're sending them out to distribution centers around Ukraine that are in need of children's clothing. Watches for Good is appreciative of your most generous donation and the kindness of the students and community of Bend, Oregon
